For the first time, Kazakhstan presented a national pavilion at Gulfood, featuring around 30 companies. Among them, Bayan Sulu’s stand from Kostanay attracted significant attention. The wide range of chocolates, candies, and other confectionery products drew visitors’ interest, reflecting the high appreciation for sweets in the region.
Alexey Zubanov, Head of Marketing at Bayan Sulu, said, “Our factory has over 50 years of experience and a long-standing history. We are currently implementing the ‘Confectionery Capital’ project, expanding production of a broad range of biscuits and cookies. Our portfolio also includes waffles, chocolate, marshmallows, candies, dragees, caramel, and other confectionery products. Gulfood is our first international exhibition, and it is a unique opportunity to showcase our products, meet potential partners, and discuss supplies of ingredients and packaging for production.”
Participation in the exhibition allowed Bayan Sulu to hold several B2B meetings with potential partners from the UAE, exploring collaboration opportunities and new market entry strategies. The strong interest in Kazakh sweets in Dubai confirms that the factory is ready to compete with leading global brands.
For KazFoodProducts, Bayan Sulu’s participation in international forums is not just a branding effort but a practical business opportunity. Events like Gulfood open new export horizons, strengthen the position of Kostanay producers in the global market, and demonstrate the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability.
