Once completed, the modern complex will expand Bayan Sulu’s total production capacity to 100,000 tons per year. It will add an additional 13,000 tons of sweets annually, with a focus on pastries and biscuits — segments where the company plans to strengthen its presence.

The facility will feature cutting-edge equipment and innovative technologies designed to:

  • expand the product range;
  • improve quality while reducing production costs;
  • process more locally grown agricultural raw materials;
  • reduce imports and support entry into new markets.

According to Arman Abenov, Deputy Akim of Kostanay Region, the project aligns with the President’s goal to increase processing of agricultural raw materials to 70% within three years and reduce reliance on food imports.

The new complex will create 260 jobs and operate in two shifts.

The launch of the “Confectionery Capital” will solidify Kostanay’s reputation as a center for confectionery manufacturing in Kazakhstan and play a key role in strengthening domestic production.
