The Prime Minister highly appreciated the factory's production facilities, the experience of introducing modern technologies and the contribution to the development of the domestic industry. Olzhas Bektenov noted the importance of a large national confectionery manufacturer with a 50-year history as one of the drivers of the country's economic growth.
Today, the plant annually produces up to 85 thousand tons of products. The assortment includes more than 300 products, including waffles, marshmallows, marmalade, toffee, caramel and more. The new complex "The capital of the confectionery" will allow to produce an additional 13 thousand tons of products per year and create 260 new jobs.
Olzhas Bektenov noted the need to strengthen the promotion of domestic brands abroad, including through digital solutions. Currently, Bayan Sulu products are exported to the foreign markets of the CIS and Europe.
