Currently, the company processes 200 tons of corn per day, amounting to over 60,000 tons annually. After the project, processing capacity will increase to 350 tons per day, enabling an additional 30–40 thousand tons of corn to be processed annually. The total volume of raw material procurement will rise from 70 000 to 120 000 tons per year. This expansion will allow the company to produce more high value-added products and increase overall operational efficiency.
The project also has significant socio-economic importance for the region. Today, JSC «AsiaAgroFood» employs 500 people, and around 70 new jobs will be created following the expansion. The project establishes a stable and transparent market for local farmers, while government support measures, including water-saving technologies, are effectively integrated with corn processing, creating a sustainable model for the region’s agricultural development.
Chairman of the Board, Sayan Ashenov, emphasized: “Thanks to the support of state programs, including the Ministry of Agriculture, and the attracted funding, we can reach a fundamentally new level of processing. We are removing capacity constraints and will be able to process significantly larger volumes of corn. The benefits of this project will be felt not only by our company but by the entire agricultural community in the region.”
The project aligns with national strategic priorities. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has highlighted the importance of investing in local enterprises and using the country’s agricultural potential efficiently, setting the goal for Kazakhstan to enter the top ten global producers and exporters of deep-processed grain products within the next ten years.
JSC «AsiaAgroFood» specializes in producing flour, syrup, and other wheat and corn processing products, as well as compound feed. Its operations include a flour mill with a capacity of 400 tons of wheat per day, a corn processing complex with a capacity of 200 tons per day, and a feed mill producing 600 tons of finished products per day.
This project demonstrates the company’s strategic approach to expanding raw material processing, increasing production volumes, and creating a sustainable economic impact in the regions where it operates.
