As part of his working trip to the Almaty region President Tokayev visited an exhibition of manufacturers of agricultural goods and construction materials. Producers of agricultural goods presented products such as meat, milk, fish, juice, vegetables and fruits. During the conversation with farmers President Tokayev noted that thanks to its climatic conditions and proximity to Almaty City the region has great opportunities to attract investors to the industry.
“It is important to introduce new technologies into agricultural production and produce environmentally friendly products,” highlighted Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The exhibition featured products from more than 20 Kazakhstani producers, including such a large company as AsiaAgroFood JSC.
President Tokayev stressed the importance of AsiaAgroFood JSC for the region’s economy and Kazakhstan’s agriculture sector.
