Bayan Sulu JSC is one of the largest enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the production of confectionery, sugar and flour products. The factory was founded in December 1974 as the Qostanai confectionery factory and transformed into Bayan Sulu JSC in September 1993.

The factory's products participate in various international and domestic exhibitions and competitions. The trademarks of the factory have the following awards: “The best enterprise producing goods for the population” (“Altyn Sapa”), “Leader of Quality” (“National Center for Expertise and Certification”), “Best Product” (as part of the "ProdExpo" exhibition), "Best Product" (as part of the "WorldFood Moscow" exhibition) and many others.
In the production of products, all standards and state standards (GOSTs) of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the EurAsEU (European-Asian Economic Union) are strictly observed. In 2006, the Quality Management System was introduced in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2000. In 2015, a certification audit of the Quality Management System has carried out in accordance with the requirements of the state standard ST RK ISO 9001-2009 (ISO 9001:2008). A food safety management system has been introduced in accordance with the requirements of the state standard ST RK ISO 22000-2006 (ISO 22000:2005). The Energy Management System has been implemented in accordance with the requirements of the state standard ST RK ISO 50001-2012 (ISO 50001:2011).1
